Use what you have

The theme this week is to use what you have at home. It's a good idea to empty the fridge and cupboards before Christmas to make room for Christmas food. Some cans of corn or lentils will get you far. If you, like me, have some lavender flowers left make this lavender pudding. The menu is also mainly vegetarian and some of the recipes can be used as vegetarian alternatives for Christmas. The week menus will take some time off and return in the beginning of next year.  

Monday: Creamed corn

Tuesday: Sweet potato gnocchi

Wednesday: Miso soup

Thursday: Lentilotto, serve with Christmas ham

Friday: Mini pies

Saturday: Baked beetroots
