Lentil soup with menthe

1 onion
2 tbsp garam masala
1 cinnamon stick
2 tbsp olive oil
2 dl green lentils
1 can crushed tomatoes
5 dl vegetable stock
1 tea spoon honey
1 bunch menthe
salt and pepper
Chop the onion and fry onion, garam masala and cinnamon stick in the oil. Pour in the lentils, tomatoes and stock and boil for 15 minutes. Remove the cinnamon stick. Mix the soup with a stick mixer. Season with salt and pepper. Chop the menthe and sprinkle over the soup.
