Nadiyas baked noodles and chicken
I get a lot of inspiration from TV chefs. One chef I like is Nadiya Hussein. She makes quick but tasty recipes perfect for family life. This recipe is great, it almost cooks it self.
3 dl hot water
30 g brown sugar
150 ml soy
30 g fresh grated ginger
4 cloves garlic, grated
chili flakes
400 g chicken thighs with or without the bone
225 g noodles
fresh coriander
spring onion
sesame seeds
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Pour the hot water in a large baking tray and add the sugar and stir until the sugar is resolved. Wait until the water is cool. Add grated ginger, garlic, chili and soy. Place the chicken in the sauce and cook in the oven for 20-30 minutes. Take out the tray and lift the chicken on to a plate and add the noodles into the tray. There must be sauce covering the noodles. If not add some more water. Place the chicken back on top of the noodles and cook for 10 more minutes. Decorate with fresh coriander, spring onion, sesame seeds and some extra chili flakes.
