Meat balls, ragout and mash
150 g smoked bacon or pork
1 apple
1 onion
150 g carrots
1 table spoon dried thyme
2 dl double cream
1 dl water
stock
500 g minced meat
2 table spoons bread crumbs
0,5 dl double cream
500 g potato
500 g jerusalem artichokes
25 g butter
2 dl milk
salt
pepper
300 g lingon berries, fresh or frozen
1 dl sugar
Peel potatoes and artichoke and boil in salted water for about 20 minutes. Mix bread crumbs and 0,5 dl cream. Add minced meat salt and pepper and form meat balls. Start to fry. Peel and cut the onion and carrots in smaller pieces. Cut the bacon or pork and fry onion, carrot and bacon for 10 minutes. Add the apple, cream, thyme, water and stock. Boil for 10 minutes, Stir the lingon berries and sugar until the sugar have melted. When the potatoes and artichokes are soft add milk and butter and make a mash. Salt and pepper.
