Creamed corn (en)

Creamed corn works well with Christmas ham or some barbequed chicken.

1 can corn

1 clove garlic

1 tbsp butter

chili flakes

3 dl double cream

1 lime

fresh coriander

salt and pepper

Let the corn drip off in a sift. Peel and grate the garlic. Fry the garlic and chili flakes in the butter. Add corn and cream and let boil on low heat for 10 minutes. Take half of the corn and mix gently in a blender. Pour back in the saucepan. Chop the coriander coarsely. Grate the zest of the lime and add zest and coriander to the corn. Season with salt and pepper.
